How to Review Listener Statistics and Reports in AzuraCast
AzuraCast reports help you understand how your station is performing. Instead of guessing which shows, playlists or times of day work best, you can review listener activity and playback history. Log in at https://stream.onlineaudience.co.uk and open the Reports area from your station sidebar.
Useful reports to check
- Listeners: Shows current and recent listener activity, including connection details and general location information where available.
- Song history: Shows which tracks have played and when they were broadcast.
- Playback timeline: Helps you compare programming changes with listener increases or drop-offs.
- Requests: If listener requests are enabled, this can help show which songs your audience actively chooses.
Do not judge success from one short spike or drop. Online radio listening naturally changes throughout the day, especially around work, school, commute and evening listening habits. Look for patterns over time. If a Friday show consistently performs well, promote it more. If listeners leave during certain content blocks, review the format, audio quality or scheduling. Reports are not just numbers; they are practical programming tools. Used regularly, they can help you build a better station schedule, improve playlist choices and make your radio brand more focused.
