How to Add or Update an A Record
Domains & DNS · Self-help guide
An A record points a domain or subdomain to an IPv4 address. Log in to the place where your DNS is managed, such as your domain registrar, hosting control panel, or DNS provider. Open the DNS zone for the domain. To point the main domain, edit or create an A record for @. To point a subdomain, create an A record such as app, radio, or client. Enter the server IP address exactly as provided. Leave the TTL at the default value unless support has advised otherwise. Save the record, then allow time for DNS propagation. You can test it with nslookup yourdomain.co.uk or an online DNS checker.
