How to Create a Database in Plesk

Many websites need a database to store content and settings. In Plesk, open Websites & Domains and choose Databases. Click Add Database and select the domain the database belongs to. Enter a clear database name, then create a database user with a strong password. Keep the database name, username, password, and host details safe because your application installer may need them. If Plesk offers permission or remote access options, leave them at the safest default unless you know your application requires something different. Do not delete databases unless you are certain they are unused. Before replacing an existing website, export or back up the database first.
