How to Stream Live to Your Online Radio Station
To stream live, you need your station’s live connection details from the radio control panel. These normally include the server hostname, port, mount point, username, password, and audio format. Open your broadcasting software and create a new encoder or output connection. Enter the details exactly as shown in your panel, choose the correct bitrate, and select MP3 or AAC if supported by your station. Before going live, check your microphone, music levels, and internet connection. Start with a short private test if possible. When ready, connect the encoder and confirm the control panel shows a live source connected. Listen from the public stream URL to make sure listeners hear the correct audio. Do not share live passwords with presenters unless they are authorised DJs.
