How to Find Your Stream URL, SSL Links and Player Details
Your stream links are what listeners, websites, apps and radio directories use to play your station. Using the wrong link is one of the most common causes of players failing, so always copy the correct URL directly from Sonic Panel.
Step-by-step guide
- Log in to Sonic Panel: https://sonic.onlineaudience.co.uk/cp/log.php.
- Open the area labelled player links, SSL connections, stream links, radio details or widgets.
- Identify which link you need: public player, direct stream URL, SSL stream URL, website widget or directory submission link.
- Copy the full link exactly as shown, including https, port numbers and any stream path.
- Paste the link into your website, mobile app, smart speaker provider or radio directory.
- Test the link in a private browser window and on mobile data, not just on your office Wi-Fi.
Where possible, use HTTPS or SSL links for modern websites, because many browsers block insecure audio on secure pages. If a directory asks for a direct stream URL, do not submit the dashboard login link. If you are embedding a player, use the widget or player code provided in the panel rather than building one from memory. After updating a public link, check the station from a listener’s point of view. If it plays on your computer but not on your phone, test another network and confirm you copied the full address correctly.
