How to Create Promotions and Discount Codes

Promotion codes can help with launches, seasonal offers, and reseller campaigns. In WHMCS admin, open the promotions or discount section and create a new promotion. Choose a clear code, such as LAUNCH20, and decide whether the discount is a percentage or fixed amount. Set limits carefully, including start date, expiry date, number of uses, applicable products, billing cycles, and whether the code applies once or recurring. Avoid creating unlimited discounts unless you intend them to stay active. Place a test order with the code to confirm the pricing is correct. After the campaign ends, disable or archive the promotion. Keep a note of active offers so staff can answer billing questions accurately.
