How to Create a Manual Backup in Plesk

Manual backups are useful before updates, migrations, plugin changes, or design work. In Plesk, open Websites & Domains, then Backup Manager, and choose Back Up. Select what should be included, such as website files, databases, mail, and configuration, depending on your available options. If the website is important, include both files and databases. Choose whether to store the backup on the server or download it if available. Server-stored backups are convenient, but off-server copies are safer if the server has a major problem. Wait until the backup completes before making changes. Keep a note of the backup date so you know which restore point to use if needed.
