How to Configure WHMCS Automation Cron Jobs
WHMCS · Self-help guide
The WHMCS cron is essential for daily automation. It can generate invoices, send reminders, process suspensions, run terminations, and perform other scheduled tasks depending on your configuration. In WHMCS admin, open the automation settings and copy the recommended cron command. Add it to your hosting control panel or server cron system. The cron should run at the frequency recommended by WHMCS, usually every few minutes, with daily automation running at the configured time. After setting it up, check the WHMCS activity log and automation status to confirm it is running successfully. If invoices are not generating or overdue actions are not happening, check the cron path, PHP version, permissions, and server time zone.
