How to Upload Music to the Sonic Panel Music Library

SonicPanel · Self-help guide

The Music Library is where you should organise your station audio before adding it to playlists. Keeping your files tidy makes AutoDJ easier to manage and helps you avoid duplicate uploads, missing tracks and messy playlist names later.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Log in to Sonic Panel here: https://sonic.onlineaudience.co.uk/cp/log.php.
  2. Open Music Library from the control panel menu.
  3. Create clear folders for your content, such as Main Rotation, Jingles, Adverts, 80s, Dance, Overnight or Presenter Beds.
  4. Open the folder you want to use, then upload your MP3 files using the upload area.
  5. Wait until the upload has fully completed before leaving the page or refreshing the browser.
  6. Once uploaded, use the Music Library list to find, preview and select tracks before adding them to playlists.

For a professional setup, do not upload every file into one folder. Use a folder structure that matches how your station actually runs. Keep jingles separate from full songs, keep adverts separate from music and remove old versions of tracks you no longer use. If a song does not appear in the playlist area after upload, refresh the Music Library page and confirm the file is a valid MP3. Avoid unusual characters in file names, as simple names are easier to manage and troubleshoot.
