How to Create Client Groups in WHMCS

Client groups help you organise customers inside WHMCS. You might create groups such as Reseller Clients, VIP Support, Internal Accounts, or Legacy Pricing. In WHMCS admin, open the client group settings and create a new group with a clear name and colour. Depending on your configuration, groups may be used for reporting, admin visibility, discounts, or internal workflow. Assign clients carefully from their client profile. Do not use groups as a replacement for proper product pricing or permissions unless you have tested the behaviour. Keep group names professional because staff may see them often. Review groups regularly so old labels do not cause confusion later.
