How to Troubleshoot Common AutoDJ Problems in Sonic Panel
If AutoDJ is not playing correctly, the problem is usually caused by a playlist, upload, schedule or connection issue. Work through the checks in order instead of changing lots of settings at once. This makes it much easier to find the real cause.
Step-by-step guide
- Log in to Sonic Panel: https://sonic.onlineaudience.co.uk/cp/log.php.
- Check that the main radio stream is online.
- Check that AutoDJ is started and not offline or stopped.
- Open Playlist Manager and confirm the active playlist contains valid MP3 files.
- Check whether a scheduled playlist is currently active and whether it has tracks inside it.
- If music was recently uploaded, confirm the upload completed and the tracks were added to the playlist, not just the library.
- Restart AutoDJ after playlist changes, then test the public player.
If you hear silence after a live DJ disconnects, AutoDJ may not have resumed correctly, so restart AutoDJ and listen again. If the same song keeps repeating, add more music or check whether only one small playlist is active. If a scheduled show does not start, review the time, day and timezone settings. Keep a backup playlist with reliable music and jingles so you can restore audio quickly. If the radio service itself will not start, or the panel shows server errors, contact support rather than repeatedly pressing start and stop.
