How to Review WHMCS Activity Logs
WHMCS · Self-help guide
WHMCS logs are useful when troubleshooting automation, module actions, admin changes, gateway callbacks, and email delivery. In WHMCS admin, open the activity log and search for the client, service ID, invoice number, admin user, or module action involved. Look at the time of the issue and compare it with customer reports. For provisioning problems, also check module logs if enabled, but disable module debugging after testing because it may record sensitive data. When asking for support, provide the relevant log line, timestamp, affected service, and action attempted. Do not publish full logs publicly. Activity logs help confirm whether WHMCS attempted an action, whether a module returned an error, or whether staff changed a setting.
