How to Create a MySQL Database and User in cPanel
cPanel · Self-help guide
Many website applications need a MySQL database. Log in to cPanel and open MySQL Databases. Under Create New Database, enter a short database name and click Create Database. Go back to the same page and create a database user with a strong password. After the user is created, scroll to Add User to Database. Choose the user and database, then click Add. Select the required permissions. For most standard applications, choose All Privileges, then save. Keep the database name, username, password, and host details safe because your website installer may need them. Never share database passwords publicly or inside screenshots.
