How to Troubleshoot WordPress Email Not Sending
WordPress · Self-help guide
WordPress email problems usually affect contact forms, order emails, password resets, or notifications. First, check whether the email is going to spam. Then confirm the recipient address is correct. Many hosts restrict default PHP mail, so using SMTP is usually more reliable. Install a trusted SMTP plugin and configure it with your mailbox or email provider details. Send a test email from the plugin settings. If the test fails, check the SMTP host, port, encryption type, username, and password. Also check DNS records such as SPF, DKIM, and DMARC for the sending domain. Do not publish SMTP passwords in screenshots or tickets. If mail still fails, contact support with the test result and error message.
